Okay, so, I figured out about halfway through the first season of Better Off Ted that I would have to make this picspam, and then I had to go back and cap all the episodes I'd seen already (oh, such hardship).

First up: I adore this show. I didn't think I would. But I do. I adore the characters and the wacky plotlets and the humour and everything else. But most of all I adore the costumes, particularly the INSANE range of gorgeous outfits they manage to get (the already gorgeous) Portia di Rossi into.

Whoa. This whole 'basic account' thing is even more drastic than I thought. I never voice post and I can get by easily without polls, and my six icons are surprisingly adequate, but...no comment editing? Really, LJ? And now Plus ads are jumping up all over the place, too. Clearly I am a spoiled brat.

Importantly, however, I spent a good two days wondering where my layout header had disappeared to before realising that it was hosted in my now nonexistent LJ Scrapbook. OOPS. dopplegl, would you be able to...I don't know, give me the picture file to host on Photobucket and then tweak the coding accordingly?

I watched the first half of Becoming Jane today and while I still don't have any particular fondness for Anne Hathaway, my love for James McAvoy -- already strong -- has doubled as a result. I think this calls for a rewatch of the Shakespeare Retold Macbeth.

Fun fact! The three films most beautifully combining Fahye's male & female celebrity crushes are The Runaway Jury (Rachel Weisz & John Cusack), Match Point (Scarlett Johannson & Jonathan Rhys Meyers) and Macbeth (Keeley Hawes & James McAvoy).

This can't really be a meme, can it. Well. Any other bisexual (or...sexuality label de choix) flisters are welcome to weigh in! Or we could all just throw pictures of hot people around.

'Tis the season, right?

No matter what sins or weird musicals Andrew Lloyd Webber has committed or will ever commit, I will always love him for this one. And this particular staging/movie is just brutally, jaw-droppingly well done. The music by itself is fantastic - add staging and choreography and acting and concept like this, and it becomes something phenomenal.

'Unfinished Business' airs tomorrow. I have been steadily working myself into a frenzy of anticipation, no thanks to certain people on my flist, and so to celebrate what is very likely going to be the pilotiest episode to ever pilot, I am holding a little retrospective celebration here on my LJ, in picspam form. No commentary, just Pilot Moments We Have Known And Loved.
