JB HiFi is having a massive sale on TV -- I was poking around the Civic store today and ugh, ugh, I could have bought three seasons of Farscape for $40, or three seasons of Six Feet Under for $50, or finally got to see Green Wing, or bought The Wire for my father, or or or or or -- you know. If. I felt so sad in the wallet afterwards that I accidentally bought The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, but it was only $5 so I think I can allow myself that luxury without freaking out and slowly disintegrating under the fiscal guilt.

ANYWAY. I HAVE ABUSED PARENTAL BANDWIDTH AND AM UP TO DATE WITH WHITE COLLAR.

Oh man I have so many FEELINGS about so many things (DIANA) and so much astonishment at how blatant the Peter/Neal is becoming, and littledust is taunting me with the prospect of eyai!WC which is just unfair because I would eat that up with an enormous spoon.

What else have I been doing. NOT STUDYING. I read the latest Discworld book. My sister and I made caramellised apple tartlets. We watched a new Bill Bailey DVD. I continued to whack my miserable head against my Merlin AU while it cackled at my pain. You know. The usual.

It was going to be five, but I could only think of three, and I wanted it finished before the week of med school began :)

In celebration (*cough*) I have finished my White Collar fic. It isn't threesome porn but that is only because it was already far, far too long for something that is mostly devoid of plot. 1) In the final stages of my leisurely West Wing rewatch. My crush on Jimmy Smits grows stronger with every episode.

2) I've readopted the habit of watching NCIS while I'm on the exercise bike every morning, and it's working out nicely in that I've lost all the weight I put on during exams, but I'm currently in the middle of S4 and I have no other seasons! And I'm pretty sure both of my siblings have already bought my Xmas presents so I can't ask for it as a gift! WHAT WILL I DO? No other show that I own on DVD has the right balance of engaging characters and procedural plots that require no concentration.

3) Responding to the effusive enthusiasm coming from all corners of the flist, yesterday I watched the pilot of White Collar. I. Well. Yes. Hello, fandom which is embracing whole-heartedly the prospect of an OT3 and also the laughably obvious possession/bondage kink that exists in the dynamic between the two leads. I -- I am going to need some icons. Yes indeed.
