re: white collar 1x10

I --

I CAN'T EVEN --

TOUCHING. AND HANDCUFFS. AND ORDERS. AND FLIRTING LESSONS. AND MAGIC HANDS. AND SINGING. AND LAW-BREAKING. AND TRUST, MY GOD.

HOW IS THIS SHOW A REAL THING.

ETA:

<3! There should be more June.

And more El, obv. ("You had to flirt?")

BUUUURKES.

I just need to gibber for a bit about how Neal expresses himself in words (always, always words) and Peter is just speechless for like five seconds and then the only thing he can do is reach out and touch, and then lock Neal in place (Don't. Pick. This.) and run off to BREAK THE LAW in order to save him, because he's a protector and he chooses his own responsibilities and absolute raw trust like Neal's is the one thing he could never, ever betray.

DEFINITELY ONE OF MY FAVORITE EPISODES YET.

I mean, the plot was SO RIDICULOUS (and oh god, so ethically questionable, I must say) from a medical standpoint -- HEY WE'LL JUST GOOGLE THE SYMPTOMS OF RENAL FAILURE.

But I REALLY do not care about the plots when there is so much OT3ness and D/s-ness and wonderful relationship-building happening all over the place.

Plus, Neal wore scrubs and a steth, I will take any excuse for that.

I have to say, the scene with drugged!Neal made me FLAIL.

All the incredible Neal-Peter stuff made me almost forget MOZ PRETENDING TO BE BRUCE WILLIS which was actually the funniest thing that I think the show has managed to do so far.

I read on someone's review of the ep that it was a lot more like an episode of Leverage than an episode of a procedural, which is completely true. SO much bending/breaking/ignoring of the law!

OMG yes I forgot to mention that too!

It was kinda Leverage-like this week. I had to sort of ignore all the medical anything, but that was easy to do in favor of oh, EVERYTHING ELSE.

(Have you seen [livejournal.com profile] copperbadge's rec post for the show in general?)

The medical-scam episode in Leverage was my FAVOURITE, but somehow the same plot really rubbed me the wrong way in WC. Maybe because they GOOGLED SYMPTOMS sdkjhsdjh but also because, I don't know, it didn't strike me as a moral line that Peter would be entirely comfortable crossing. I am, however, prepared to buy that he was VERY PISSED OFF that someone (else) drugged and restrained his felon.

I guess this means you have seen this one? That is kind of too bad because I WOULD HAVE LOVED TO SUMMARIZE THIS ONE (in my free time! this weekend! no really!)

Have you seen the other two? I can probably still tell you the other two!

I LOVE THIS SHOW.

TOO LATE, I have seen all three (a friend at hospital managed to help me out).

You could still summarise it, you know. On your own journal. With caps. I WOULD ENJOY THAT.

Seriously, where can they go from here? I -- I cannot imagine how they will ramp up the emotional intensity any further unless kissing is involved.

Does Neal look that much like Elijah Wood all the time, or just in those photos?
