picspam of sort-of-OTP
Ji suggested I do an OTP picspam to cheer myself up after exams. So I started looking for pictures of my OTPs. Which led to much agonising indecision as to whether one could have more than one OTP for a series, or if one was allowed two OTPs as long as they involved different characters, or which was my favourite/most representative picture for that OTP...
And then I decided fuck that, I was going to include as many pictures of as many different pairings as I wanted, because really, restricting oneself in this kind of situation advantages nobody.
(Lots of these I only have in icon form. I have no idea who made lots of the icons, as sometimes I just steal them to stare at privately. If anyone has any larger or prettier pictures or caps to share, PLEASE DO!)

And it's just so perfectly juvenile, the way she expects him to stick up for her and he's looking at her like they've been in this situation a MILLION TIMES *combusts* Oh, pilots.

This scene is completely Elizabeth/Mr Darcy IN SPACE, and it's when I fell in love with these two.

Another pairing that I support in certain contexts (like Linn's art...and certain fic...and Milliways...) and not others. It works if it's done well.

Back when they weren't OF THE CRAZY. Even though the crazy is one of the best factors in their relationship.

My mother brought me up watching this movie and it's nowhere near as polished or pretty as the other Austens, but I adore it to pieces. And she's so TINY and he's so TALL and they go SAILING OFF INTO A MILITARY SUNSET.
OT3! Seriously, this movie is so fucking awesome. Bandits. Find it. Watch it. Love it.
Jack/ship OTP.
Considered entirely separately to the books, I like this movie. And this pairing. The aesthetics won me over.
Genderfuck! Viola/Orsino is just awesome. He starts to question his sexuality and she's TRAPPED IN HER OWN CROSSDRESSING DECEPTION and yeah.
...of course. This follows from the last one. This is one of my favourite movies of all time - Shakespeare, genderfuck, a Stoppard script, actors I really like, and a whoooole heap of injokes that only Elizabethan & Jacobean theatre geeks get.
I have given up being able to explain these two because I start off coherent and then I just end up blathering and waving my hands. But. Absolute subtle perfection of the type that only British television can deliver.
I am including Muraki/Oriya because the first fanfic of mine I consider to be actually good, I wrote for this pairing.
This is such a great icon, because the quote is Princess Bride but it manages to completely sum up that entire scene. Tsuzuki/Hisoka was my first OTP. It's nicely symmetrical that I end with them.
