So...Ji asked about my top five pieces of fanart and I tried for about ten minutes to narrow it down to five and then gave up in disgust. Ergo, you get a post of...seventeen. More pretties for everyone, right?





HP first. I have a HUGE folder of HP fanart and choosing a few was like pulling teeth. Anyway, linnpuzzle does such gorgeous Marauder pictures, all warm and autumny, and this is one of my favourites of hers. I forgot to resize it so it's larger than the rest, but yay detail!



I...don't know the artist (I don't know a lot of artists, unfortunately) but isn't this AWESOME?





Oh man. Makari. Her Malfoys are the BEST THING IN THE WORLD, and her art is always quirky and beautiful and hilarious.

This is one of my favourite pieces of fanart ever, despite the fact that I haven't watched Hellsing for years and my liking for it was only ever mild. I DID have a huge fondness for the dynamic between Integra Hellsing and Alucard, though, so this picture is dskjbncxkchsadh on so many levels.





I don't even know the old series of Doctor Who AT ALL and these are still really, really funny.



I love this! I love it when fanart plays around with fandom borders like this. (For those who don't speak anime, it's the main characters from Ouran High School Host Club...cosplaying as characters from other series. Namely Harry Potter, Full Metal Alchemist, Death Note, Inuyasha, and Naruto. And er, whatever Mori is wearing Bleach, thank you Mel.)



Okay! On to the Naruto section, which is huge because this fandom does seriously amazing art. I really love this one because it's so colourful and fun and completely in character.

Yeah, okay, this one makes no sense unless you know about Sai's penchant for sharing his midriff with the world, but it's one of my favourite pieces of fanart. SAI <333



KISSING. I really love the way this is just black lineart but manages something very swift and lovely in how clean the image is.



This is only crackart until you realise that it's what the inside of Shikamaru's head must look like ALL THE TIME: him surrounded by immature idiots.



Speaking of crackart: this is my favourite of squeakyorm's, hands down, and she's done a LOT of very cool crack.
