I am falling-over tired (quite literally) and tomorrow (well..today) will bring with it enormous amounts of cleaning and vacuuming and throwing out dead helium balloons (currently at the pathetic, droopy stage) but it will all be worth it because that was the best 21st party a girl could hope for. Booze! Food! Awesome people! I think my actual 21st birthday on Wednesday is going to have to work pretty damn hard to top that.

Don't get me wrong, I'm having a wonderful time with Sports Night, I'm just experiencing a bizarre sense of bemusement that I am enjoying the show while still retaining my iron-clad and long-standing apathy where sports are concerned. The West Wing transformed my apathy regarding American politics -- and any politics, really -- into active interest and intellectual engagement, but sports? Especially American sports? No. No. I am just letting my brain glaze over as soon as a discussion about baseball begins, and contenting myself with enjoying the fledgling Sorkin wit and trying not to squeal OMG HI WILL!!! every time Joshua Malina appears.
