Wonderful. Am now suffering from a combination of mystery illness and acute guilt.
Spent all of last night either shivering uncontrollably or sweating, having mad delirious half-awake dreams, a horribly sore throat and a headache and getting NO SLEEP AT ALL until 5am. Not fun. Apart from absolutely weird... not dream, exactly, as was awake... train of thought? about Kenshin characters (mostly Sano) cooking things, which then turned into a Kenshin fanfic. Totally random and insane, brought on (I am convinced) by a combination of Bartok (thanks Teegs) with Kenshin cards, reading a funny recipe book from Annie to try and get rid of awful insomnia and reading too much Draco Trilogy earlier that evening.
All right then let's move on. I'm creeping myself out here.
I also have been struck down with guilt over Mel's absence, think I probably have an innate feeling of shame that I am somehow usurping her place... oh I don't know.

Okay if you wish you can ignore my last entry which was full of darkness and guilt and weird thoughts and feeling sorry for myself. I just couldn't be stuffed to go and delete it.
Teegs and I have discovered that we BOTH had the "mystery illness" last night and are debating whether it was a curse or too much Pepsi Max. Ali, did you get sick at all?

My mother, being the organised control-freak that she is, is not all that keen on "arrive any time leave anytime", despite how appealing and free it sounds. Can you give vague times?? Vague as in "midmorning" "midafternoon" "lunchtime" kind of vague?? When will others be coming and leaving? And I also need your address which you probably won't want to post so you can email me if you like. Or if all your entries are "friends only" now then I guess you could post it. Whatever.
Really want to think of something cheerful and uplifting to write, because my sore throat is going away and I'm feeling slightly happier now. Plus my brother is calling me a bitch for not letting him onto the computer, so of course I need to stay on just a little longer to make him suffer. I'm such a nice, caring sister ;-)

Draco looked over at him. "Not really; why?"
"Because if my only other choice is to stand here and watch you two snog, I think I’d like to go spend some quality time with him. You know, I kinda think he liked me."

"Is this something else going to involve clothing removal of any sort?"
"Yes," said Draco, his temper fraying, "I’m doing research for my new book ‘How to Fight Evil in the Nude.’"
Harry grinned. "Nobody would read a book called that."
"I would," said Fleur.
Harry rolled his eyes.

Well this is kinda pathetic, three updates and countless comments in one day. Not even sure why I'm updating now other than force of habit. My sibs and mother got back from the coast today, and tomorrow I'm working in Commonwealth Park in the evening, so if anyone goes to see the evening concert at Stage 88 (bushfire appeal, ppl, very good cause) then come and buy softdrink off me! No Pepsi Max unfortunately, but there will be copious amounts of vanilla coke!
Now that my little advertising campaign is over, I'm going to go proofread a story for my American friend Ember.
Oh yes quick thingo here - does anyone know where I could find a translation of the lyrics of Shining Collection? Interesting to see if Yuki's as much of a songwriter as he thinks he is...
