the bottom of the bucket

I am alive! I even intend to blog with proper content again, but not tonight. This week I finished my plastic surgery term, which was wearing me down in all sorts of ways, and then plunged straight into Sydney Supanova all weekend. And it was awesome! But as someone with an uber-social job who desperately needs her weekends to recharge and be still, heading exhausted into two days of loud fannish interaction was a challenge.

I have been catching up on my reading list and a lot of people are owed congratulations, support, encouragement, thoughtful feedback, etc. but the idea of reaching down and finding the energy to interact meaningfully even on that level is, right now, not computing. I'm sorry.

Hopefully I can get some pictures from the con up later in the week, because I enjoyed the costume part of it enormously, as usual, and was part of an incredible group :)
