31 Dec 2010 12:14 pmToday is a day for lounging and reading books and apologising to my hips for all the walking they did yesterday. SORRY GUYS. (But it was a good day! I went to the National Gallery for a few hours, and in the evening I met
lizardspots for the first time \o/ and we went to get things signed by
erikamoen and then out for Italian food.)
Today has also been a day for a less confuddled grocery shopping trip. I must admit, I was daunted at the idea of living in a flat without a wok (HOW DOES ONE COOK...ANYTHING??) but all my eating problems have been solved, because I have found the food I am prepared to live on for the next month: Sainsbury's honey baked cashews and peanuts. OM NOM NOM x INFINITY.
Don't worry, I also bought vegetables. When I am living alone I tend to suddenly go 'oh! yes! vegies!' and then do weird things like cook half a box of mushrooms with garlic, or chop up an entire capsicum and pour balsamic dressing over it.
NTE tonight; I am going for dinner with some old family friends, and then probably coming home and going to bed early.
