fahye: ([tww] wouldn't stop for red lights)
I am taking a day off. I. What. WHO AM I?

Granted, it took three separate people looking at me and saying, um, Fahye, you look kind of awful, maybe you should be asleep instead of at a HOSPITAL. Considering the number of tissues and painkillers and used teabags adorning my flat at the moment, they may have a point.

So, I have plans to do an assignment and study lots and clean many of the things (shut up, this counts as a 'day off') but right now I am drinking coffee and listening to Taylor Swift and reading steadily-more-ridiculous Inception fics*, which I feel qualifies me for relaxation points.

...

*fidgets*

*Oh, btw, you should all go and read solve Del's latest, which contains PUZZLES. I wanted to rub my face against it like Saito's carpet. PUZZLES!!

Dear Inception fandom,

Here are some things that can be put into a human vein:

- cannulae

Trocar needles are used as insertion vehicles for cannulae, yes, and then they are immediately removed and put into a sharps bin or something.

Here are some thing that DO NOT REMAIN IN A VEIN:

- needles, Jesus Christ (do you want all your characters to wake up with massive haematomas?? NO YOU DON'T)
- SYRINGES

Repeat after me, fandom: you do not slide a syringe into your vein. Or anyone else's vein. The anatomical logistics of that are completely fucking baffling.

Okay then.

I'm glad we've sorted that out.
