VI is a small number

Wow, my icon collection is now like a distillation of pixelated aesthetics and fandomly love! I feel...slightly naked, but also intriguingly minimalist.

I am alone in the house for a few days and -- of course -- the first thing that happened this morning was the spectacular death of the family's DVD player. Hmmph. Anyway, downloads still being impossible, I am ducking over to tammaiya's this afternoon to watch Torchwood.

But first: vacuuming the living room. And then a pot of Japanese lime tea, I think.

(By the way: hello & envious wishes to everyone currently assembled to celebrate the marriage of Emmy & Mr Emmy! Someone hug the bride and eat a piece of ridiculous cake for me!)

I WAS planning on spending the evening finally watching the final three episodes of Dexter S2, but I am now two glasses into a bottle of red wine and starting to question the wisdom of this plan.

I have therefore retired to my room with the rest of the wine, a large glass of water, and the intention of idly rewatching Bones episodes all evening.

And maybe practising this*. Because alcohol can surely do nothing but good when it comes to one's ability to perform the Hare Hare.

*Look, this is what happens when one spends too much time with ryokophoenix. One ends up thinking that learning insane anime dances is a perfectly legitimate pastime.
