I shall start my own trend. Clicky! Link from

Well, summer has well and truly arrived; after a miserable few days, Canberra obliged me by making December 1st warm and sunny. I need to summerify my icons!
(...holy crap, it's December. How? HOW?)
Warm weather especially appreciated in light of the fact that I'm spending quite a bit of time at the ice rink - my sister's friend broke her arm, so instead of me choreographing and coaching them, I'm actually performing the routine with my sister. Cue frantic reworking of the elements so that it can be done by an 11-year-old and an almost-19-year old, rather than two 11-year-olds. It's not a competition, which is nice - just a Christmas ice festival with fun routines as solos, pairs or groups. I am yet to reach the eardrum-burning stage with Girls Just Want To Have Fun, the music my sister chose, but yesterday the rink tape player died and I pulled a muscle in my side and grumble, grumble, grumble.
To do list
- chase people who haven't RSVPed for my birthday party
- start, um, planning said party (one week! aaargh!)
- finish choreography for skating
- draw up costume designs so I can buy material on Sunday morning
- actually finish the Big Damn Crossover
Tea. This will require tea.
