I think this post needs a Sweets icon

I've finished my ED term and started in PSYCHIATRY which means starting at the leisurely hour of 9am, lots of talking, lots of challenging and interesting patients, very few expectations that I will stick needles into people, and the ability to wear nail polish to work.

I also gave my poor medical student my rant about the need for more mental health professionals with a progressive and non-pathologising approach to gender and sexuality issues and an interest in transcultural conceptions and manifestations of mental illness, and he was kind enough to nod politely through it.
