fahye: ([tww] she had another quality)
Orientation starts in TWO DAYS. Naturally I am running around like a chook with its head cut off trying to take full advantage of my last two days of freedom. First on the agenda is knocking over the hundreds of pages of prereading, which I am alternating with episodes of Band of Brothers and Generation Kill. And many pots of tea.

I love the shininess of Tumblr but I was right in thinking that it is a TERRIBLE IDEA, especially because the majority of posts happen while I'm asleep -- thank you timezones -- so if I want to see everything I have to spend half an hour in the morning clicking back through pages and pages of my dash. Which I soon won't have time to do. Oh well. It was worth a try!

And now...26 pages on chest pain and 20 pages on hypoglycaemia. Just when you think the studying is over for a couple of years, you get landed with more.
fahye: ([himym] the dreamwork of now)
Right, I need some input here. I'm about to start the early-rising-for-work thing and I am having breakfast issues, namely:

- I don't like most cereals
- I am bored of toast
- eggs are time-consuming
- I should probably stop just eating yoghurt, and add some carbs to my first meal of the day

I like the idea of making a batch of breakfast muffins and then sticking them in the freezer, and defrosting one to eat every morning. The internet of course has recipes aplenty, but I thought I'd canvas personal opinion. So. Does anyone have any favourite recipes for muffins or other breakfast options that are fairly healthy, and filling, and would freeze well? Sweet or savoury, don't mind.
