plus my nails are now bright orange

Back in Sydney! I missed this place so much; I have been going around with a stupid city-grin on my face even when faced with the prospect of a long commute. I'm staying with the lovely _leareth, whose flatmates are introducing me to the wonders of Malaysian home cooking, and the walk between the apartment and the train station is a PATH OF TEMPTATION considering the number of places selling sushi and sweet rolls and onigiri and gelato and bubble tea and ramen.

This week it's just endless talks on being a good intern, and the eight weeks of pre-internship start next week. On Friday we have not one but two celebrations of the end of med school: a champagne breakfast put on by one of the big medical indemnity companies, and then a swanky dinner in the city at night.

Now I need to see if I can make the TV work so I can watch more Suits.
