The secret X-Men project of great awesomeness is now officially HALFWAY COMPLETE. The wordcount is currently just over 15,000 words. THIS BODES WELL. There may be something to this 'write from start to finish and resist all urges to edit until the first draft is done' concept after all!
And yes, that is the most exciting thing going on in my life right now. The next two weeks will be a mess of ever-increasing academic panic, followed by exams. You don't want to hear about that. I don't want to hear about that, and it's my damn life. (I promise I will be more entertaining during pre-internship.)
My mother & sister are coming to visit this weekend, though, I can't wait <3
