bend the light
15 Feb 2009 05:09 pmSo far today I have slept off a mild hangover, spent a long time in the library geeking out over my neuroanatomy textbooks, and pouted in an irritated manner at Jeanette Winterson's The Stone Gods, which I would be enjoying far more if it would stop being Fortuna Fugit, with lesbians, in space. That's just not playing fair.
Still to come in this thrilling Sunday: hiking down King St in search of something to eat (I have eaten beef pad see eiw more times than you'd think possible during the past week, so maybe I'll do the longer walk and get some Indian instead. or I could admit to myself that I am addicted to pad see eiw. we'll see.) and then watching one of the DVDs I bought as a self-valentine present.
These are not intellectual films. These are going in the 'one day I will finally track down D.E.B.S. on DVD and then my life will be complete' section of my DVD folder.
[Poll #1349521]
I also bought Bend it Like Beckham and Master and Commander, but I've watched them both too recently.
IDEALLY, of course, I would be spending the evening working on my Merlin fic, but I remain completely unable to write anything. It's driving me nuts.
