Oh. Wow. You have NO IDEA how drunk I am right now. This hostel has a Happy Hour special where you can get two cocktails for 6 Euro and I didn't know that a) you have to get them both at the same time, and b) they have to be the same cocktail. So I ended up ordering two margaritas and drinking them quite fast and ohhhhhh god I don't think brains were meant to handle this much tequila at once. So very drunk. Had to fumble way through one of those delightful hostel conversations with a Brazilian lawyer called Marco. While drunk. Don't think he noticed?

We went to Taormina today, which was one of the better decisions we've made on this holiday. GORGEOUS. And we climbed some steps up to an old ruined sanctuary place from which the views were spectacular. Tomorrow: Syracuse.
