25 Sep 2008 07:46 pmAm working in college library, sneakily using LJ in between cataloguing books. Earlier I even had a long phone conversation along the lines of HAPPY BIRTHDAY and DON'T READ TWILIGHT and TAKE ME WITH YOU TO THE UCLA MEDICAL CENTRE* with my brother, sister and father respectively. I'm a terribly irresponsible librarian, yes, but in my defence there is NOBODY ELSE IN THE LIBRARY. College girls under-utilise this place to a sad, sad degree.
highlyeccentric and
kayloulee can attest to this! We are captaining a ghost ship, working here!
One more hour and then I can sign off and go meet up with
ryokophoenix, who is crashing at my place while she attends a postgrad info thinger, and who in return has promised me the Avatar finale (FINALLY. YESSSS. WATCHING TONIGHT.) and as many free biros as she can pick up, because now that I am a medical student and not a PROSPECTIVE medical student, I no longer get given free biros, and my stash is running low!
Must maintain energy for Avatar-watching. But my body wants to sleep. All the time. I slept for 10.5 hours last night, had an hour nap earlier in the day, micronapped all the way through some poor guy's lecture on parasitic diseases, and my body STILL wants to just keel over and doze. Ugh.
*Story: there was some hope of me visiting SF and then LA with my father in June next year, but unfortunately the week of the conference is a week during which I have an exam (WHYYYY. I HAVE HOLIDAYS THE WEEK AFTER. HMPH.) so that won't be happening :(
