fahye: ([dw] your choices are half chance)
I am spending today being EFFICIENT AS ALL GETOUT, because I have enormous amounts of uni work to do, but mostly because my room/desk/uni notes have devolved (well, okay, let's be scientific about it: evolved, or rather progressed) into a state of chaos.

Haha! I shall spend the day reversing entropy. And then reading about clotting factors and bleeding disorders, which -- believe me -- are at least twice as boring as you think they are.

Tonight my father is arriving in Sydney for the college's Father-Daughter dinner, about which he is very excited. As am I, I suppose: the food is guaranteed to be better than any normal college food, and I will leap upon any excuse to wear a dress.

Ughghghhhh. So much for SUPER EFFICIENCY. It's thirty degrees here (SPRING. HELLO.) and in lieu of lying around outside and exposing my pathetic British skin to certain burnination and befrecklement, I am in front of my computer trying extremely hard to concentrate on my lecture notes. But there's a giant magnolia tree outside my window looking all bright and springlike in the sunshine, and I'm midway through both the first season of The Wire and a handful of excellent books...seriously, universe, why throw me a perfect day like this and then force me to WORK through it?

My room is clean, though. My room is clean, my laundry is done, my notes are sorted, my wardrobe has been gone through with a ruthless eye and folding hands, and my desk no longer looks as though a very small hurricane has swept across it.
