fahye: ([potc] under the windings of the sea)
A little while ago I picked up Aimé Césaire's French version of The Tempest, which places lots of emphasis on the colonialist aspects of the play and not much on anything else. But instead of just a selective translation of the play, there are also all of these randomly improvised scenes.

(GONZALO: Saisissez-moi bien.

)

Omg. It's like FANFIC. It's like Césaire was all, you know what this play needs, it needs NEW METAPHORS that allow me to make CLEVER JUXTAPOSITIONS, and then it needs SNARK.

I realise that I have four drabbles still to finish (sorry! I'll get to them tonight!) but after I've done my homework for today I'd like to ramble about writing for a while. So:

Ask me a question about one of my stories. It can be absolutely anything in ANY fic and I will tell you the honest-to-God answer. Don’t hold back. Ask about my plans for future stories if you like. Anything. Whatever you ask, I will try my best to answer.

*sigh*

Kind-of-voicepost-thing.

Nobody will ever convince me that my voice does not sound bizarre when it's recorded.

That said, if you wanted to hear my bizarre voice doing other things for your amusement, I suppose that could be arranged. (And if anyone knows how to force Audacity to produce smaller files...that would be helpful too.)
