Must ... study ... immunology.
Can't ... stop ... watching ... How I Met Your Mother.
(Srsly, guys, upon rewatching I love all of the characters EVEN MORE and my need for all of the S3 episodes that I'm missing is EVEN STRONGER, and apparently the most recent one has outmaking and stuff, damn it, damn it.)
In entirely unrelated news, I'm writing (well, I'd LIKE to be writing) a Haruhi Suzumiya fic which is -- as usual -- so disgustingly full of physics and Tom Stoppard references that I bet the fandom (if there even is a fandom) will hate it. IT'S AWESOME <333 It might be called Love & Rhetoric but I haven'tobsessively reread Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead decided yet.
You feel a certain kinship with these characters, who only exist for the influence that they cast on a protagonist whose chaotic choices may not be as irrational as they appear.
Yes. You can relate to that.
See? SEE? Oh man I am pathetic.
Back toHIMYM work.
ETA: Oh yes, there was something I actually tagged in my mind as 'blogworthy' during the day, so of course I forgot to put it in. I got my legs & bikini line waxed at a nice place up on King St and even though the girl was as skinny and perfectly hairless as beauticians always are (sigh) , she offered me a LOLLIPOP when she was doing my bikini line. They have a JAR OF LOLLIPOPS. FOR BIKINI WAXES. Like giving kids jellybeans after injections. I declined reflexively at the time because apparently my brain took it as an insult to my pain tolerance, but hey, I pocketed a lollipop when I was putting my trousers back on, so I think I'll have it right. now.
