- Completed the two assignments due today.
- Managed to competently ignore my immunology reading, through the simple method of not being able to get through more than half a page before my brain shut down in self-defence. Oh God. This course is going to kill me.
- Turned up to the figure skating competition with the full intention of helping my mother with tech support and administration, and ended up being roped into judging instead. (Me: But I've only trial-judged two test sessions before! No comps! UM! Head judge: You'll be fine!)
- Watched really, really, really ridiculous amounts of Avatar: The Last Airbender.
- Coughed so much my back started to give me hell.
- As a direct result of the above, discovered one of the downsides of having doctors for parents, which is differential diagnosis:
Me (wanting some kind of sympathetic parental 'I'm sure it'll be fine!' sentiment): My back's started hurting when I cough.
Mum: Does it hurt when you take deep breaths as well?
Me: A bit?
Mum: Localised or general pain?
Me: Uhhhhnotsure.
Mum: Well, you could have pleurisy or you could have cracked a rib or you could have inherited your father's poor spinothoracic regions and have intermittent nerve pinching.
Me: ...FANTASTIC.
