ACN = Advanced Cellular Neuroscience
I&I = Infection & Immunology
AP = Abnormal Psych
IBN = Issues in Behavioural Neuroscience
Okay. In the true spirit of Week 1, ie. The Week Where They Waste Your Petrol, I only had one lecture, the introductory ACN one where they tell us about the 60% exam (HURRAH! I approve of courses with large exam weightings). I also bought a parking permit, paid my semester fees, and wandered nostalgically around the campus for approximately ten minutes before deciding it was too damn hot and taking refuge in the air-conditioned medical school computer lab.

loki013 linked to this fantastic Vanity Fair photoshoot, which is making me want to buy the magazine. I do not think I have ever bought a magazine - of any sort - in my life. But this...! Glamour! Film noir! Gorgeous people!
-setissma wrote an AU McShep fic, Wide Open Ocean, which I have not yet commented on because I am awful. But you should read it; everything Tai writes is infused with a careful, rich sense of love, and this shines through especially here because she's writing about a subject very close to her heart.
- Andbrynnmck also wrote fic. Slings & Arrows fic, in which she is enough of a Bard-geek to satisfy even my greedy soul. And it's Brynn, so it's hot and funny and absolutely spot-on in its characterisation of Geoffrey and Ellen. Live In Thy Heart, Die In Thy Lap, and Be Buried In Thy Eyes.
