my entry tags amuse me
15 Aug 2006 10:55 pmThe new season of Wire in the Blood has started screening here. Hermione Norris has left the show (;_; Carooooool) but my family assures me that it is still fantastic. I've already missed the first episode and I'm going to miss the second because of a friend's birthday dinner.
*gives up*
I'll just buy it on DVD.

Book meme from...everyone.
1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the next 3 sentences on your LJ along with these instructions.
5. Don’t you dare dig for that "cool" or "intellectual" book in your closet! I know you were thinking about it! Just pick up whatever is closest.
Seeing as how I'm just about to die here, people need to know that my personal intention all along has been to serve the glory of God. Pretty much. Not that you can find this in our mission statement, but that's my general overall plan.
- 'Survivor', Chuck Palahniuk
(WTF, this book's pages are numbered BACKWARDS. How did I not notice that?)
While I'm on the topic - if you haven't read anything by Chuck Palahniuk, you are missing a large part of your modern existential angst education. That and he's a fucking phenomenal writer. I live for the day when I can write something half as good as Fight Club, and Survivor is almost as good.
