30 Dec 2004 11:03 pmMulholland Drive, courtesy of my family:
"It's got everything! It's got emotion and intelligence for the women, and naked lesbian assassins for the men!"
(NB - this does not represent the actuality of the plot and/or characters of Mulholland Drive, reason being the plot, if there is one, is fucked up five ways past Sunday)
It was a great movie! Just, yeah. Fucked.
~
I went out today with every intention of buying the Concise Oxford Dictionary of Quotations ($30). Whilst at the Electric Shadows bookshop I found the complete Oxford Dictionary of Quotations, which is massive like a mofo and costs $100.
*is sucker for big dictionaries*
*starts saving*
I also ended up buying 6 martini glasses on sale ($20) and some chai, because the guy in the Tea Centre had nobody to talk to and I was moping because someone had bought the tea set I had my eye on before Christmas. Apparently you're actually meant to put milk in chai. Ugh.
~
I need to order the Wicked soundtrack from JB.
I need to stop spending money.
