Mmm. Few too many things to update about, really. I might revert to dot points, because I'm feeling lazy.

# Had the most fun I've ever had on a Valentine's Day, with the aid of my gorgeous friends, a huge amount of junk food, and Ryan Phillippe and Sarah Michelle Gellar <3 Cruel Intentions is still up on my list of favourite movies. I blame Sebastian's glasses.

# Discovered that I do, in fact, get paid double on Sundays. Walked away from this morning with $75 and a craving for manga. Need X. And Tokyo Babylon. And more Demon Diary. And the second Confidential Confessions.

# Have found to my intense alarm that I cannot actually DO my maths homework. From either line. This is really not good. Might have to attack Mrs Clark and make sick yak noises at her (thanks, tink...) and force her to show me things.

# It really is too hot to clean. Or work. Or write speeches. Or emails. Or research orals. Or do anything. Want more Angel, because Doyle's voice is soothing *paws feebly at video and hopes that more episodes will magically appear*

Fleur might go update now. Or alternatively, I could collapse on my bed and hope the heat kills me so I don't have to go to school tomorrow.

Weird. I've never hated school. And now it's the beginning of my final year and our relationship is taking a sharp turn for the worse.

My WeatherPixie is wearing a bikini. A yellow and orange bikini. I am disgusted.

...and no, there is no real point to this update. Let me quickly pull one out of my ass.

Told my mother I might do graduate med if I decide to be a psychiatrist. Both parents (both parents are doctors) shocked. Father thinks psychiatry a bad idea. Mother thinks is the most intellectually satisfying branch of medicine there is *smug*

Mother: And so, with no encouragement from us at all, we may yet end up with all three of you being doctors.

(My sister wants to be a doctor. She did want to be a nurse, and then she found out that doctors get to boss nurses around and changed her mind.)

Father: You know that all of the med graduates who become psychiatrists are themselves mentally unbalanced, right?

Me: O_O

Mother: Bryan!

Father: What?

Mother: Well... maybe 90% of them...

...I have the Angel themesong stuck in my head *sighs*

[EDIT: short drabble posted at [livejournal.com profile] mercurial_wit. I got bored.]
