and AGAIN!
27 Sep 2003 10:54 amw00t. We are in the house of some friends in Kew, and they have allowed me onto their computer, which is good. I have been vaguely scanning my friend's page but cannot be bothered to actually read much of it, there's faaar too much. I need to lose some friends, or at least find some less articulate ones ^_^
Okay, now that I can rant properly about my doings...
* Saw Les Miserables at a West End theatre. It was absolutely the most amazing stage show I have EVER seen. Marius was played by some blond guy from SClub7 O.o but he did it very well. Cosette was soppy and irritating, but Enjolras was SEX ON LEGS and totally in love with Marius. And poor Marius was in love with him AND Cosette AND Eponine all at once. Such fun.
* Have done all the touristy things, including climbing all the way up to the top of bloody St Paul's (553 steps) which gives you a great view but lead to my not being able to stand for the rest of the afternoon. Westminster Abbey. The London Eye (big ferris wheel). The Globe, which was gorgeous but the tour guide was annoying. Discovering the wonders of London public transport.
* LOTS of shopping. Demon Diary, for whoever asked (Siobhan?), has gorgeous art and an interesting plot but the dilaogue is a bit simple. Discovered the first volume was written by a high school boy ^_^ But I love the character designs. Found a black leather Trinity coat but it was 300 POUNDS. Also seen many pairs of boots but none that I wanted enough to buy. Everything here is very, very expensive.
* From here we go to Windsor Castle, then to a little bed and breakfast place for the night. I have probably missed a lot of things but my arms are aching like hell from dragging a suitcase up and down stairs in the Tube station, so I'll stop here.
Please remember to take LOTS of pictures at Animania and have the time of your lives for me, okay? I'll probably update more before you leave but I thought I'd better remind you now. My brother turned 14 two days ago and has become even more deliberately irritating, so I am making up for my lack of anyone to talk to by constructing frequent and hideous vampire mary sues which I play with for a while and then discard. I could be thinking about my english oral, but this is so much more fun.

[Edit: OH OH OH we saw the LOTR exhibition that Anna went to in New Zealand. The costumes are lovely, but the weapons... *dies* I want them all. Especially Legolas' knives and all the pretty Gondorian swords.]
