Kouri Arashi, who wrote Live Through and its sequels and inspired the writing of Shields and who I genuinely consider to be a GOOD ficwriter, has gone and STOLEN all of my ideas and now Shields looks even MORE like a derivative piece of sappy crap. I am very, VERY pissed off. I invented their mindlink. She sticks an empathic link, almost the same damn thing, into Falling Is Like This (the second sequel) Also a whole chapter devoted to Hisoka being stuck inside his mind in denial, which I have carefully planned in Shields but with Tsuzuki instead. YES, she can write and YES she is worshipped by all but WHY do I have to discover that my wonderful original ideas had been ALREADY churned out by her? I can never post this anywhere now, I'll be despised as an unoriginal toadying minion.

*slams fist into desk*

Well, she writes even stickier sap than I do, and even more gloomy angst. That's one comfort. I am not a totally cliched little ficwriter. I just, you know, can't come up with anything that hasn't been done a million times before...
