Going to some weird Gang Show trivia night tonight. Be back after 9pm and will probably try to wrestle OOTP from my mother and come onto LJ to sulk if unsuccessful. I am turning with the trends and also putting off emailness unless finished (and probably others are finished) partly because it's sensible and partly because it makes me feel slightly less patronised and minion-like. I will not be sending emails if replies will not be forthcoming, that's just silleh. Ouch *winces* My bitchiness levels are up high. I've been fighting with my mother about cleaning and who gets to read OOTP all day. Sorry!

There may be an email for eujar, however, because I owe her one and she has not joined in the general abstaining trend yet. And mel I am sending a reply of approx one line because it's important.

My team won the trivia night. We are so cool. One of the rounds was filling in the names of every street on a printout of the Monopoly board. Surprisingly hard. We got JELLYBEANS!!! *giggles with sugar-high-ness* A whole big Dulux tin of them.

Have adjusted some details of my random story idea. Fariu is now called Jennet. Lucien is now a half-French vampire and Fin is the soul of his twin sister Effienne trapped in the viola. There's a blind Gaelic girl called Corda who can see people's souls. There's a whole horde of albino children who live in people's dreams called the Dream Stalkers. Jennet can create illusions of things that he sees in his dreams, but nothing else. Lucien can make spells with Fin, by playing her. Lucien is being set up by the institution owners with this girl called Mirabella to carry on the vampire bloodline, but it's a big failure because he's gay. Obviously. It IS shounen-ai. And, in the grand tradition of pointless surrealism, the two main characters hate each other before falling on love. Duh. I do have standards. The story is called The Dream Singers. And I really want to write it but REALLY need to forget it long enough to finish Quindlemire *beats self over head with pencilcase* Damn this hyperactive imagination of mine.
