31 May 2003 11:59 am... is the most beautiful
brilliant
album
ever.
At some stage in the near future I will be writing a songfic to My immortal because as soon as I heard it it screamed "Angst! Songfic! YnM! Lots and lots of angst!" But I AM finishing Shields first. Thanks for your help last night, Ali. Just email me when you finish the second section.
ANYWAY, there was actually a point to this update rather than to simply rave about how beautiful Fallen is... Gang Show. I know some of you have expressed an interest in coming, so here are the dates (all performances at the Erindale Theatre):
Sat 12 July 7:30pm (all tickets $9.50)
Tue 15 July 7:30pm
Wed 16 July 7:30pm
Fri 18 July 7:30pm
Sat 19 July 1:30pm
Sat 19 July 7:30pm (all tickets $15)
Tickets are $15 for adults and $9.50 concessions, apart from the exceptions specified above. Concessions are 16 years and under though. If you can get together a group of 10 or more people for any performance but the final one and order tickets before 1st July you get a 10% discount (I dunno, drag your families along, you don't have to sit next to them)
Okay. The last performance is usually the best BUT it is more expensive, no group discount, and you probably wouldn't get to see me afterwards because I have parties from 11:30ish onwards. If you would like to come as a group, then meet me outside afterwards to shower me with flowers and chocolates *sarcastic cough* and maybe go out for late-night Goodberries or something, then come to one of the evening performances that ISN'T the final Saturday.
If everyone can comment/ring/tell me if they're actually going to be here then, which nights you'd like etc, then I can organise a booking for you at rehearsals and choose really good seats for you. Encourage your families to come - it doesn't matter, I can get them separate seats in a different part of the theatre so that all you guys can sit together - because it WILL be a good show and the more people that come the better the cast performs.
Plus of course you get to see me being a cowboy hiphop dancer, a plebian (that's what it says on the cast sheet, honest), a churchgoer in a really pretty but dead annoying purple lacy dress, the composer Grieg (that's my horrible little solo. i really didn't want a solo this year, but i got one anyway. pah.) a skanky futuristic punk (oh yeeeeaaahhh) etc. You know you want to.
Whew. That took a while. Better get back to my physics notes now.
