"Men are like wine. They all start out like grapes and it's our job to stomp on them and keep them in the dark until they mature into something that we'd like to have dinner with."
In my boredom I decided to find a random user and got (on my first try) a gay guy whose name was Yonny. He hasn't got any interests or bio though, rather boring. Considering commenting and telling him to add yaoi as an interest or something, even though he obviously has no idea what anime is. Hmmm.
Managed to get my chem work done and just have physics to go before 8:30 and the INSANELY SILLY AND HILARIOUS WONDER THAT IS THE EUROVISION SONG CONTEST. tATu are on. I like their songs. Plus I just want to laugh at all the pathetic little bands from pathetic little countries wearing sparkly outfits and trying to be the next ABBA.
SO I obviously have PLENTY of time to work on Shields (my random little fic). I like it. It's too sappy for words because I haven't written much of the angst part yet and it's probably so derivative that it's ghastly, but I like it. Writing yaoi sap for two gorgeous gorgeous characters with deliciosuly dark and angst-filled pasts is the most satisfying thing in the world. It's also the first time I've tried writing from the viewpoint of a man - unless you count Dark Garden, but that was hardly obvious - and it's interesting to do. They think differently, it's weird. But I read through the bits I've done and I think it's working. Maybe. Gyeh. Afraid to show its sappyness to anyone so I'll just struggle through on my lonesome.
Eujar I sent Goddesses to your school inbox, did you get it? I've marked where bits are missing and the second half of the document is just bits pulled from random places because I couldn't be stuffed to make a new document but please read it all, some of the later stuff is stuff I like. It IS original, far more so than Quindlemire. And how are you going with Splashdance?
Off to write angst... *rubs hands*
