Lots of stuff to write about because I haven't been bothered to update for a while. Was going to write a looong ranty entry with many exclamation marks and caps locks about supanova but it would just pale into insignificance besides cathy's and everyone else's so will save my energy and just rejoice quietly in the fact that I was able to go.

So.

Went to Anna's on Friday night and got to watch the first 4 episodes of YnM. New favourite anime alert!! *alarm bells go off* THREE hot guys in a yaoi love triangle with FIRE and BLOOD and BONDAGE... Tsuzuki is the most gorgeous person ever. Purple eyes...mmmm... but green-eyed kid is pretty good too. Hisoka? That his name? Those two make the CUTEST COUPLE EVER but the whole dark/light good/evil thing with Dr Whosit works well too. I have a crap memory for names. Took me two DVDs of Kenshin to work out all of their names. Speaking of which - Ali can I have some more DVDs to watch?? I think I've seen up to 10. Possibly. You may know better than me.

So, where was I? Finally got to bed at a REASONABLY EARLY hour (for a sleepover) and then proceeded to get bugger all sleep because I was so excited or something. So got up at 2:30am feeling soooo tiiiiired and had to force myself into clothes and pack bags and drive through deserted streets to EMPTY BUS INTERCHANGE and wait around for the bus driver to turn up. Managed to sleep quite a bit on the bus, though, despite initial paranoia that the sword would fall out of the overhead racks and stun some poor innocent person.

Eventually got to Sydney, played with map until we worked out where we were and where we wanted to be, then proceeded to scare the population of inner Sydney by happily wandering around holding a fencing foil. Found our way onto York St and then walked ALL THE WAY UP IT going "are you sure it was the corus?" "maybe she said PORK st and it's on the other side of the city..." and basically hyping ourselves into a semi-panic. Turned out to be the last damn building on the entire damn street. Rang Tegan. Phone not on. Waltzed into foyer (still with sword) and asked to be connected to the Cruwys rooms. You know where it goes from there.

My room is so priteeeee now. Still have reams and reams of blank space, though, need to print off or buy more stuff to stick on them. But Supanova was THE best thing EVER. I'm soooo glad mum let me go. But I stand by my opinion that you guys should have won the cosplay. Bus trip back was fun, didn't sleep but had long rambling conversation with Anna on topics ranging from slash to characters that run away and develop independent personalities (some of mine are doing that and it scares me!) and pissed all others in the bus off by talking. The Norbacks were on our bus back, though! We didn't talk to them druing the ride, but we saw them before and after.

Today was of course a let down after such a joyous weekend, but not too bad all things considered. Tasted a tiny bit of pocky and APPROVE of it heartily. Found out that one of my maths tests is only on a tiny portion of work not the whole term (mrs jordan is so niiiiiice). Our PE team won the term tournament which is the biggest joke EVER as we SUCK and just happened to be flukishly okay at basketball. So we got lollipops and the insane sporty people glared at us and bitched in the changerooms about how unfair it was. Ha. Hahahahaha. Eugenie and I are taking this as a lesson that being sporty gets one NOWHERE in life.

Okay, first week of the holidays, probably Thurs or Fri, basically everyone is invited to my house for the day! Yay! There MAY be restrictions on numbers, I'll have to see. But it will be fun. And near the end of the hols Teegs and I want to organise a shopping trip to Sydney (you don't HAVE to spend any money, just come and have fun!) catching buses both ways, buying an all day bus ticket and just wandering around on our own. Who's in?? Now I have to work slavishly to pay off bus fare from LAST weekend and get money for THIS trip plus want to get rest of X manga PLUS at some stage need to order some fire poi. Or can buy them in Sydney.

Also have to get stuff together for dragon skin. Now going as Buffy so I don't have to dye my hair black *faints in relief* Am currently seeing how blonde it'll go. Will have to find four day's worth of food that I can carry around with my tent and clothes and other stuff... *dies* I'm gonna lose so much weight. Will probably end up giving up on food and just living off sweetened condensed milk (THE best thing to have on a hike) and dried fruit and dying of exhaustion and starvation somewhere in the wilderness. I can't belive I'm doing this for FUN.

I'd like to get some CDs off people - Ceres soundtrack, Linkin Park and Weird Al from Teegs, for a start. I'll give you blanks, or you can lend them to me, I don't mind. Who else bought CDs on the weekend?

Whew, LONG post. Will actually go and do maths homework now *looks guilty*
I can't WAIT until thursday lunchtime. No more assessment for ME...
