Awwwwwww.....
29 Mar 2003 09:45 pmThanks muchly Ali for my pretty little Squall blinky-thingy! *hugs Ali* Yes I know they're called avatars. I like that name better. I now actually HAVE FF8 the computer game IN MY HOUSE thanks to Anna and Annie so soon I can PLAY it and have all the beautisparkly wonder that is Squall ON DEMAND! Though knowing me I shall be appalling at the game and fail even the first level/task/thing and so be DENIED SQUALLNESS FOREVER due to my own lack of basic motor skills.
Just got back from The Christian Brothers, very entertaining play. The main guy is like Anderson in fanatic-scary-trench-coat-Catholic way, I found it hightly amusing comparing them the whole way through. Good play!! Go and see it and laugh at the Catholic educatory system and be engrossed in the dark humour and violence and coolness of it!
Okay enough advertising. I also had Unit Management course today, wasn't too bad after all. Got more cake, not complaining. Found out that - and this is REALLY exciting, get ready - the Venturer Commissioner may be running a trip to Africa at the end of next year, five weeks over the Christmas holidays. Rafting on Zambezi River, train through the Serengeti and photographic safari in Kenya, hiking round mt Kilimanjaro, staying at seaside resort surroudned by shops and cool African markets. AND the cheapest way to get there is to buy an Air France round-the-world ticket, so on the way back we would have two-day stopovers in Alexandria (pyramids!) Paris, India and Bangkok. *dies of joy* AND my parents have theoretically approved it and my friend Sophie wants to come too!! Now all I have to do is raise approx $10000 by next year *rubs hands* Right! Sure thing! I love Venturers, you get to do the best stuff. Sheesh I sound like an ad again. Moving on...
Have long religious-philosophical rant to post one of these days, maybe after my ENGLISH ORAL OF DOOM is completed. Mother is approaching and wants computer, so bye.
(Oh yes! We DO have Fly TV! When is Utena on and is there anything elso I should look out for?)
Still going on BmB. Tybalt. Grrrr.
