& a songmeme

I'll do this when I get home this afternoon:

Comment below with a song request that you think I'd be able to provide, something like 'a song that reminds you of someplace you went on holiday when you were little' or 'a song that never fails to give you the shivers when you listen to it' or 'a song in a language you don't speak but would like to learn'.

For what does mean why! errr.

It's exactly the same as 'pourquoi' . . .

Not necessarily! If it was 'for what' then you could have been asking 'what is it a suitable sound for?' (Unlikely. But. You see?) I did think it was most likely the same as pourquoi, but IT IS BEST TO CHECK. YOU AND YOUR SPANISH.

Why? I don't know if I could isolate a reason. I always need calm music to write anything to - anything too heavy and the rhythm/words intrude on the rhythm/words I'm producing. And the Lucifer-mindset is very calm. It needs to be quiet and precise and with room to read people in.

[livejournal.com profile] crazythorn and I converse(d) almost entirely in Spanglish :( It gets hard to shake.

That is a good point. Most Thom songs are impossible (for me) to write to.
