"Isn't it wonderful? It's my birthday gift, to me!"
And my graduation present, and my 83% overall mark in final exams present, and my -- transparently guilt-assuaging -- next year I will have a reasonable salary present.

The thing to know about me is that normally I avoid Alannah Hill like the plague, given that 99% of it is frilly and foofy and little-girly and covered in bows and hearts and flowers and sequins. To walk into those shops is to wonder if at any moment Hello Kitty might leap out from behind a rack of uniformly ghastly cardigans and maul you to death.
But that remaining 1%, man, I will fall for it every time. This cost basically as much money as I have ever spent on a single item of clothing and I don't care because I am in love, floral pattern and sparkly buttons and all.

This. *snigger* It's so true. I have a very cute cardigan from AH, and every time I wear it I feel like I should be putting hot rollers in my hair and bows on my shoes.
Gorgeous jacket.
BTW I'm booking my return ticket, and I should be back in Sydney on Nov 6 or 7.

Oh, I like it! Well, I doubt I'd wear it because I am allergic to pastel colours, but I love the button trim.
