pointless rage

Oh fuck off, body, this is no longer funny. I've avoided class and taken a day off hospital, I've slept as much as possible, I've been drinking my fluids, and I'm still sick?

I have BARRIER EXAMS in LESS THAN A MONTH, you wanker. I need that health for studying with!

No love. No love whatsoever.

ETA: Under the circumstances (and because going and commenting on everyone else's will nicely fill up the gap before I have to drag myself to a tutorial):

On the theory that we could all use a hearty dose of positive energy and general warm fuzziness while we wait, none too patiently, for better times; that *no* one I know is getting told often enough what a good job they are doing just getting through this crazy, lovely world. Take a second, and mention something you like about me (if such a thing exists) in the comments. Then repost this to your own journal, and have some goodness for yourself.

I have this feeling everybody else is going to mention writing and med school and your AMAZINGNESS in being able to do both, so I will say this:

I love your sense of the aesthetic, even when I don't share it. It's so... fleshed out, and it comes across in every single thing you write and do.

I really like how much you like Shakespeare and literature. Your so unashamedly gleeful about it, and that's neat to read.

I absolutely love your writing style and the stories you create with it. :)

The way you mix science in with your fiction is one of the factors that helped me regain my curiosity about the universe. Everything is connected, ya know? ♥

You are one of the most persistent and determined people I know. The world should just get out of the way.

(That and your enthusiasm is contagious. I swear.)

You are the best person for seeing and writing and developing incredibly complex relationships in your work that I know.

Also, when you dork out, you do it with incredible amounts of style. :D

I just love you, full stop. I could mention your writing ability or your extraordinary dedication or how your posts never fail to make me smile, but basically, I just think you're a big ball of awesome.

Baby I love you for your mind, and for your rhythm, and for your precision. I love you for your ice-calm exterior and volcanic insides. Be happy. :)

You're insightful and smart. I love your meta.

I love your writing. I love your creation of cityscapes, and your love of them. I love that you love both HP & BSG & cosplay! I love that you understand that I cannot understand how love works and yet continue to write about it. I love that you go to my old uni in my old home town but hate that I'm not still there, because we so would have hung out.

And we YET WILL. Some time this weekend I will make a post in which I can work out exactly which Londoners I will be meeting when.

I remember you once talking about the two different ways you look at things. The example was rain sliding down a window - you'd have the poet wanting to describe it one way, in metaphors and sliding prose, and the scientist would be thinking of angles and maths.

(or, something like that. I'm a writer. I give the truth scope! That was the gist of it, anyway)

Increasingly, I've found that sums you up very well, and not only do I think that's really awesome, what I adore is that they aren't seperate. You'll combine the poet and the scientist effortlessly, and it's just an utter pleasure to read and interact with.

I love the way that EVERYTHING you do, you do it with your whole being, mind body and soul.

Whether it be dancing, or science, or writing, or school, or dreaming, or the mythological make-up of the symbolism of the underlying metaphor of [insert film here], or ANYTHING.

You don't do anything by halves..
and damnit girl, you do it with style!

That's why I didn't say "and you are Reginald"!
