Usually I would be updating a lot more often during a break, but --

a) I am working/observing 9-5ish at a general practice and when I come home my brain is fuzzy and I just want a G&T and a nice lie down,
b) I am using the free time I do have to READ BOOKS, including (so far this week) Maxine Hong Kingston's The Woman Warrior (amazing), Audrey Niffenegger's The Time Traveller's Wife (very satisfying and clever), and J.M. Coetzee's Elizabeth Costello (akin to having one's mind levered forcefully wide),
c) I can't actually download all the stuff I thought I could, so my TV-watching has been confined to the few S4 episodes of HIMYM, which are small enough files. Ergo: I have very little of fannish interest to communicate.

But! Last night my family watched Iron Man on DVD and so tonight I might see if I can finish that fic I started after seeing it in cinemas, ie. months and months ago.

Anyway, having gratefully received your input and iconspam and industriously revamped my icons to reflect all that is awesome and female in my favourite fictions...let's do the meme.
