Oh man. This has the eerily familiar feeling of being the beginning of an era.

Five people Sakura punches in the face -- Naruto -- 1712 words. Patience, Sakura decides, is for people who aren't holding lives in the space between their mind and their fingers.

For those of you unfamiliar with Naruto (so...98% of you) but wanting to know enough to play along: I have surprised myself by becoming incredibly fond of the pink-haired love interest (see icon) in this anime. I know! I KNOW! But she kicks ass and yells a lot and is a medical ninja, which should pretty much explain the whole thing if you know me in the slightest.

The fic is for ryokophoenix, because I am running off to Sydney tomorrow and I will miss her enormously, but FANDOM WILL KEEP US TOGETHER. And also because she shoved this anime down my throat until I either fell in love with it of my own accord or developed Stockholm's syndrome; I no longer care which.
