What would you say are the trademarks of my writing? What themes or quirks or turns of phrase have you noticed? What is it that makes a story by me -- well, a story by me?

I like this one. And yes, I realise I am just asking for fifteen people to leap on me shouting SCIENCE! SCIENCE! SCIENCE!

P.S. You are complicit in the comma swampdom that overcame me at ... whatever point ... and from which I am still trying to extricate myself. Complicit!

Um, let's see. You... have this tendency to insert these small nearly parenthetical phrases into your writing, and they will usually be sort of offhandedly poetic, and they always do something to just make the story click. I don't know anyone else who does that exactly like you do and it's one of my favourite things about your writing.

Also SCIENCE! SCIENCE! SCIENCE!

SCIENCE! SCIENCE! SCIENCE! MEDICAL THEMES! SCIENCE!

Also really rich descriptions in an economy of langage - when an economy is necessary. It is awesome.

And science. :P

*joins the SCIENCE bandwagon*

You're also very verbose with your prose, but it's always so pretty that I don't mind.

CLASSICAL POETRY.

(This is mostly because I tune out the science as not being that odd, since my brain is FULL OF IT.)

Stream of consciousness. And non-linear time.
