NO SPOILERZ OMG

I am now scrolling through my flist and bookmarking everyone's reactions to the BSG finale by clicking the lj-cuts, covering the screen with my ARM, and squinting over the top of it as I find 'bookmark this page' in the Firefox menu.

This is kind of ridiculous.

I am still plugging along on the pilots!fic that I was a wee bit shaky on until BSG decided to go ahead and confirm my every pilots supposition with canon-y goodness! There will be drinking, hot hot sex, and angst. So much angst I still haven't worked out whether the fic will all end in tears!

oh. that video made me ache. what is it that's so evocative about phrases like "miles away from where you are"? and what is it about them hugging? just. *embarrasses self with otping all over lj*

You know, you can send the WIP to me, and in all the free time that I don't have I can give you my OPINION on whether it should end in tears!

I don't knooooow. But isn't it fantastic? My favourite line is A JOY YOU CAN'T KEEP IN. With the grinning and the STAR-BUCK writing and Kara cheering when Lee blows up the mining base and sjkdhSAKhsa dead of otp kthnx.

Heeeee but in my head it is a sort of present for you in return for getting me to watch BSG. So no peeking at the unfinished project! I'm sure I'll have figured it out by the time I get to the end. Plus I'm only 518 words in. Shameful!

I have forgotten the exact line but the shot of them sitting with the fence between them about 2:40ish into the vid is I think my favorite. I NEED TO MAKE AN ICON OF THAT SCENE. I'M QUITTING SCHOOL SO I CAN HAVE A FANDOM LIFE. FRAK MY REAL ONE. ...only a month and a half until my summer break. must. keep. sanity.

Oh, man, there was a time when I was ALMOST ready to quit BSG fandom and just watch it quietly, but then half my Milliways friends finally succumbed to the nagging of those of us who love it. And as long as YOU are making icons (I LOVE YOUR ICONS) and writing fic, I will have to stick around, won't I?

I quite like the idea of having our own little BSG fandom party. Except I know so few people to invite. Perhaps finally finishing fic will introduce me to more!

P.S. I need to stop having spazzfits and deleting most of my BSG-related icons. BAD LIFE DECISION.

When you finish fic, believe me, there's an audience out there.

Yesterday I almost deleted ALL my icons and then filled every slot with Ji's BSG icons, but I am too fond of my other fandoms to do that.
