not quite what I needed

Hiatus hishmatus. It's my party and I'll spill tales of woe if I want to.

I am so stressed that I got a fucking migraine for the first time in my life.

I bowed out early from choir planning on sleeping and hopefully feeling bright and well enough to read my enormous pile of papers tomorrow morning before my tutorial and four-hour lab.

I drove home.

Only to find that I had left my window open and this afternoon's wind and poaring rain were in just the right alignment to completely saturate my bed.

This post brought to you by my inordinate fondness for italics, the knifing pain currently squirming around behind my eyeballs, the humid heat that is slowly squeezing all conscious thought out of my head, and the HUGE PILE OF READING THAT I AM YET TO DO. Because I may as well do it tonight. Because I HAVE NO BED.

...does anyone have anything happy? Fic? Icons? Silly links?

I think I need something in my life to go right, just at the moment, or I'm going to snap.

The keywords to that icon confuse me. That is interracial? I thought not.

I kind of think Boomer needs a smack, actually.

The card game (Gaius & Starbuck) was pretty flipping awesome.

Human...Cylon...yes?

Ahahah. Grace Park Boomer often needs a smack. You get used to it.

See, I find card games sexy in an odd way and the best plot device EVER, and yet I find them kind of boring when playing myself.

And the blowing smoooookeeghjdgsdbs. I want Starbuck to be awesome at ME. And Lee. Mostly Lee. My character crushes in this show are highly shippy. But you knew that.

I am listening to my Eco of Health & Disease lecture to ward off guilt and reduce stress and o_O THE BUBONIC PLAGUE WILL KILL US ALL. Well. Not really. But it killed HALF of the population of Marseilles in 1720. (My lecturer is French. I think she just likes saying Marseilles.)

OHHHH. Isn't that species? Kings Play Cards On Fat Green Stools. What. Don't make me think any more.

You know if Starbuck blew smoke in your face you would just be like, HACKHACKCOUGHIMEANUMMMNONOPROBLEMSIRmelt.

I kind of miss French, if only because tonight has been such an asspit for German.

I could construct some argument about their DNA but I can't be bothered. Zzzzz.

HAHAH. I WOULD. I REALLY WOULD. I doubt she'd like me very much.

I MISS IT SO MUCH. I spent five minutes in the Co-op today wistfully stroking the Bescherelles and thinking about what a pretty word 'grenouille' is to say out loud.

I lapse sulkily into French when other tongues fail me. *g*

You're right, there's definitely some mythical broohoobaloo going on here.

I wound up not signing up for AP French Lit (partly 'cause it ain't offered at my school). I don't know if I said. I'm going to try and convince my friend who is taking it to use the word 'gaspiller.'

Poignarder. Poignet. Poignée.

Sometimes the mythical broohoobaloo is great, and sometimes it reeks of improvisation. Zarek + mythology = for the win, ALWAYS. I need to write more fic about Zarek.

OOH WE'VE MOVED ON TO TUBERCULOSIS. Which sounds pretty damn funny in her accent.

I would love to improvise mythology. "Yeees, you, ah, you manifest certain traits of the Xygeschrestian deity of -- of smelling like pus. This means that, uh, you should . . . find water . . . and cleanse . . . the world!!"

And that is why no one would let me.

I suspect Zarek's political theory is kind of cheap. But he does have him some charisma.

It is ridiculous how all these comments are me, but this is my 3:30 AM, why the hell am I watching BSG anyway, good night comment. Go pamper yourself. That's an order. Pretend I have some kind of authority.

I would like to march in and smack the writers around the head with some of the stuff they come up with in season two. Or, you know, ENTIRE EPISODES OF SEASON TWO. Ugh. Migraine makes me cranky.

Just you wait. Colonial Day. 1x...11? I think? BEST. EPISODE. EVER.
