not quite what I needed
Hiatus hishmatus. It's my party and I'll spill tales of woe if I want to.
I am so stressed that I got a fucking migraine for the first time in my life.
I bowed out early from choir planning on sleeping and hopefully feeling bright and well enough to read my enormous pile of papers tomorrow morning before my tutorial and four-hour lab.
I drove home.
Only to find that I had left my window open and this afternoon's wind and poaring rain were in just the right alignment to completely saturate my bed.
This post brought to you by my inordinate fondness for italics, the knifing pain currently squirming around behind my eyeballs, the humid heat that is slowly squeezing all conscious thought out of my head, and the HUGE PILE OF READING THAT I AM YET TO DO. Because I may as well do it tonight. Because I HAVE NO BED.

I think I need something in my life to go right, just at the moment, or I'm going to snap.

Gaius gets scenes like that. Normally he is just Gaius, and sometimes he is 'that weaselly little man', but then SOMETIMES he puts on his glasses and a suit and looks superior and says cool things and perfectly normal BSG fangirls start nursing bizarre crushes.

Grace ParkBoomer often needs a smack. You get used to it.See, I find card games sexy in an odd way and the best plot device EVER, and yet I find them kind of boring when playing myself.
And the blowing smoooookeeghjdgsdbs. I want Starbuck to be awesome at ME. And Lee. Mostly Lee. My character crushes in this show are highly shippy. But you knew that.
I am listening to my Eco of Health & Disease lecture to ward off guilt and reduce stress and o_O THE BUBONIC PLAGUE WILL KILL US ALL. Well. Not really. But it killed HALF of the population of Marseilles in 1720. (My lecturer is French. I think she just likes saying Marseilles.)

KNOCK YOURSELF UNCONSCIOUS WITH A LEAD PIPE/CRICKET BAT/FRYING PAN/NEUROSCIENCE TEXTBOOK/OTHER BLUNT, HEAVY OBJECT AND MAKE SURE YOU LAND ON YOUR BED.
That way, it'll only be a dull ache in the morning.
