During the course of today my hair has, due to a freak combination of hair mousse, rain and a hasty brown dye, passed through purple-magenta-pink and is now thankfully a rather nice shade of plum.
In other news, Henri Murger is far too fond of obtrusely lyrical turns of phrase, online versions of Scènes de la vie de Bohème leave out far too many sentences (seemingly at random, what) and it took me far too long to work out that there is no English translation of 'trouvère'.
