Well, I just spent a weekend in Bendigo celebrating my grandparents' 50th wedding anniversary, most of which was a luncheon where my mum and I paid out my grandfather's speech and I planned my wedding. Have decided it's going to be held in a castle, my wedding dress is going to be blood red, the cake is going to be a profiterole tower and NOT some bloody thing covered in marzipan >.< Oh yeah, and my dad is NOT going to be allowed to tell his French bank loan joke. I asked if getting him drunk would help. Apparently the jokes get worse when he's drunk. Bugger.

Also watched the rugby grand final. Ok, so after I found myself yelling at the screen I was shocked and ran away to sit in the kitchen with my mum and drew Tsuzuki and listened half-assedly to sounds of dismay and encouragement emanating from loungeroom. Wasn't as bad as it could have been - all my rellies are Victorians, so they're into AFL (which is so much better than rugby, my God. The men wear short shorts and actually have NECKS and it involves skill rather than lots of grunting) and the rugby is not quite as important.

Jonny Wilkinson is a bloody good player, though. Kept on kicking penalties, and the English were all like "YEEEAAAHHH" and the Australians were all like "...WTF, mate?"

Note severe lack of patriotism, at least when it comes to rugby.

Anyway, managed to draw about the only piece of fanart that I've ever been vaguely happy with. (I once tried to draw Sano, but he looked like a carrot ^_^;;) Doesn't look anything like Tsuzuki except for the coat and possibly the hair, because drawing faces is the one thing that I will nevereverever master. And one of his arms is on a weird angle. But it's a start.

Been watching TT extended DVD tonight - extended Faramir! <3<3<3<3 So happy. Also, am hating Arwen with a renewed passion because you learn more about Eowyn and SHE deserves Aragorn so much more. Well, not as much as Legolas. But still.

Off to watch more...

Dude, I did EXACTLY the same thing with the rugby. Except I had drunk neighbours yelling out random things and singing 'Waltzing Matilda', holding a stubbie and eating a sausage. Don't you just love my neighbours?

DID YOU RING? *pokes*
Heh, we didn't have drunken neighbours. Thank God for Victorians.

I did. I got their answering machines. Will try tomorrow. I know Rhi and Cait have probably gone to bed, don't really know about Leah. Which is bad, because I need to ask Rhi if she can drive me home from softball.

And the drunken neighbours were funny. We got suckered into singing a chorus of Waltzing Matilda before the match. It was highly amusing. *laughs at neighbours*
