well now
Guess who went a-driving around Yarralumla on her own little lonesome? Well, not techincally alone as such, my mother being in the car and all. But I went on proper road and experienced traffic and things like that - it's about time, I'm turning 17 in less than 2 months and really should be much more experienced than I am.
Have been running around for the past couple of days busily planning my future. It will be basically impossible for me to find on-campus accomodation at ANU because I'm a local, and the bed shortage for students is terrible. BUT, Phoebe has tentatively offered to let me move into her house and pay a small amount of rent - her parents will be staying in their house in Bungendore, and she'll be alone otherwise. So, I might have to learn to cook and clean properly sometime during the nnext year, hey?
izumihydra? I repeated as much as I could remember of what you said. She laughed and said "Why does she keep repeating that she will have a car??" She has to check with her parents, obviously, to see if two boarders is okay. But this may be your best bet for escaping your family.
Also, if I save up large amounts of money I may be able to buy Clio off my dad, or get him to help me buy something secondhand ^_^ Really want my own car, even if it means huge amounts of money going to petrol. I'll probably bus to and from uni, but want to have a car for social stuff.
Noteses:
* ALI, dad says you can have Dimitri as soon as you pay all the money. I'll clean him up tonight. I also get to keep $100, but it will be going straight to Mum to help pay off my massive overseas debt.
* EUJAR, not sure where you were today :-( If you were sick, hope it's not serious. The envelope that you gave me for Freddos only contained $36.80, and I don't think it fell out in my bag. You might want to check yours.
* LIZ, please look for my fastener if you have time.
Off to get some actual work done now. Am slightly more organised than yesterday. Hurrah.
PS - Helena asked me today if she could read Shields ^_^;;;
Liz, I blame you :P
