How hard do I have to shake the universe before Sarah Millican's latest DVD falls out and lands in my lap? I picked up her first recorded show Chatterbox Live yesterday, and watched it while attempting to make lahmacun pizza. I laughed, I hiccupped, I got tahini on my nose. And now I want MORE, but my DVD shop is not being forthcoming.
(Verdict on the pizza, made using this recipe; the seasoning of the meat is amaaaazing but the tahini's flavour comes through too strongly, and the whole thing needs a sweetener and some cheese. Next time I am going to add feta and also, because I am a filthy fusion-cuisine heathen, some blobs of barbeque sauce.)
One more night shift to go and then -- DAYS OFF. In which to write. And also go to Diana Ferrari and stroke their new winter boots collection like a creeper until I soulbond with a pair of tan knee-high beauties and am forced to buy them.
