tumblr has removed my capitalisation
For my birthday I received:
- lots of texts, including some from overseas (thank you,![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
leareth and the_grynne!)
- popsicle moulds in the shape of little sailboats, SO AWESOME, I am making raspberry & basil pops from the 'people's pops' recipe book next week
- volumes 3 & 6 of the Sandman series, because I have been collecting them for over a decade in a haphazard way and I think my siblings are fed up with that and just want me to HAVE THE SET so we can READ IT
- Neal Stephenson's some remarks, which is essays/journalism/interviews <3
- money for clothes which I then spent on...clothes! this dress, in fact
- a bottle of Pimm's No.1 (for me, from me, HAPPY BIRTHDAY ME)
- one of those emails from AO3 where they're like, a guest has left kudos on [list of half your fics], which is the one thing that redeems the kudos function for me because it means someone discovered my fic and then had a fun day reading it! which I always loved doing when I found new writers, so :)
- the porny Clint/Natasha plotbunny that is the direct result of writing 30K words of weird asexual romance and steadily repressing how hot it would be if they just had a lot of mostly-clothed sex in a semi-public space with undercover role play. WHAT.
& wrote not a single word on my Yuletide fic. Panic will recommence tomorrow!
