I'M ALIVE
Work has been crazy this week, I've worked 7:30am-7:30pm every day so far and it's been full of last-minute transfers to Sydney and patients deteriorating and me BRIEFLY LOSING MY PAGER (panic, panic, panic) and also my first ever death certification. But tonight I emerged victorious having entirely cleared my backlog of discharge summaries, and somehow only having TWO PATIENTS left on my list -- thus the backlog, we have been discharging like the WIND -- and tomorrow is Friday and it's the Canberra Day public holiday on Monday so yaaaay long weekend! Writing will occur!
Now I'm going to crawl into bed with red wine and a book.
