EIGHT DAYS LEFT, EVERYONE.

I am more or less certain that I'll finish on time, but I am nervous about whether it'll be polished to the standard I want. Dear self, you KNOW what happens to the wordcount when you decide that what a story needs is 'plot'.

Ooh, wow! Mine thankfully doesn't want to be THAT long, although I suspect it could if I hadn't tied it up firmly with a scene-by-scene outline.

Oh, I have a scene by scene outline too - I just had to keep cutting potential scenes along the way with a vicious 'no, no time for that'!
